Film festivals and screenings:

CEU Octagon, 28 January 2010 (International Data Protection Day): screening of the English videos organized by the Human Rights Student Initiative at CEU, with the participation of Iván Székely, for about 400 visitors.

Press Conference of the 17th Titanic International Film Festival, 30 March 2010: The call for tenders was included in press materials. Press conference opened with a screening of “Dream Guy.” News about the BROAD videos were published widely, e.g. here.

17th Titanic International Film Festival, Budapest, 8–18 April 2010 – The videos were screened over the course of a week at both Toldi and Kino Cinemas, altogether 19 times.

Arany Penge (Golden Blade) Hungarian creative festival, 27 May 2010: Four professional videos were submitted as a series in the socially responsible advertisements category.

Upcoming screenings after the end of the project:

29 September 2010, Ljubljana: continuous screening of the professional films in connection with the colloquium “Living in (Un)regulated Surveillance Society?” at the Institute of Criminology, Faculty of Law.

Presentation of the professional and amateur films and exhibition of the submitted images at Toldi Cinema, Budapest (date to be announced)

Education:

Iván Székely included in his course “Data Protection and Freedom of Information” at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics some of the preliminary results of the project.

At the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy at ELTE (Eötvös Lóránd University, Budapest), Iván Székely gave a lecture during the spring semester of 2010 about surveillance and announced the competition for creative works and "positive clichés."

Iván Székely showed the BROAD films in his course "Freedom of Information, Informational Self-determination" at University of Szeged.

Máté Szabó presented the BROAD videos in his constitutinal law lecture at ELTE.

Máté Szabó presented the BROAD videos at the educational forum Trend Hungary.

The videos have been used as educational tools by Christel Backman at the Department of Sociology at the University of Gothenburg.
